Insurance
 This is an area not well utilised amongst pet owners. Insurance of a pet can cost from as little as £7.65 per month and will cover all veterinary medical fees (except routine vaccinations, neutering, teeth cleaning) as well as third party liability should your animal be responsible for an accident. There are also in many policies a cover for boarding should owners be hospitalised.
Clients who are covered by insurance policies are asked to still pay for treatment up front and the claim be settled directly with themselves, unless an agreement has been made with a veterinary surgeon.
Euthanasia
At Lamond Veterinary Clinic we know that losing a family pet is a very difficult time. All pets that are left at our premises are collected by our understanding colleagues at the pet crematorium Larkhall. They have a personal service if you wish your pet’s ashes returned and also have a garden of remembrance where your pet’s ashes can be scattered at your request. If you require more information on this service we can advise your family at the practice or can get an experienced member of staff at the pet crematorium to speak to you.
